Michaela Kaser was born 8/9/89 to Keith and Susanna in Shoreham-By-Sea, England. She was the second of four children; She lived a very interesting and cultural life at a very young age. When she was four years old she moved from Sussex County to Paris, France where she lived for one year before moving back to England for one year until she moved to K.L., Malaysia where she lived for three years. Then for her first time in the United States she and her family moved to Southlake, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. She had always been influenced by a young age, and after her first word was "ME" she decided that when she grew up she was going to be famous. When she was four years old she saw a movie that changed her life, an Irish comedy called "The Commitments" not the average three year old movie but behind the swearing was her first exposure to SOUL, The singers from Dublin don't scream Soul but singing songs by Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Donny Hathaway, and Martha Reeves and the Vandellas had Michaela learning every word and showing off her big voice at a very young age. When Michaela moved to Texas she started singing in choirs at her school and since being in country land she started singing country music everywhere she possibly could around the metroplex, such as where LeAnn Rhimes got her start at Johnnie High's Country Review. When she was in sixth grade she realized after listening to the radio that she could not only memorize every song and sing them better than the singers but also that she could write songs just as catchy. Michaela started out writing her songs with piano and then her voice teacher Joe Davission would play guitar on all of her songs, She recorded them at several studios around the area. Even though she was half English, she was still half American and felt that even though a lot of the students and other singers were hateful towards her she still sand that National Anthem at every sporting event and all of the varsity events. Being in a town where sports are everything it was great exposure. She got a scholarship to attend the Berklee summer songwriting camp, where she fell in love with Berklee and Boston and knew it was the place for her. She then not only received early acceptance but also a scholarship. Since being at Berklee she has improved drastically being able to sing all different types of genres extremely well. She also started her band Michaela Kaser and The Naughty Drop in her second semester at Berklee. They have since performed all over Boston at popular venues and they are currently recording. She has performed in various prestigious ensembles at the school such as Skip Smith's NeoSoul Ensemble and Aretha Franklin Ensemble. She also sang background for the voice departments biggest show for the semester at Singer's Night. She has a lot of potential and very successful future ahead of herself.
